Brandon Guerra is a percussionist and composer from San Antonio and frequent collaborator with ARCOS. He studied Jazz at Texas State University and with Butch Miles, Wayne Salzmann II, Ari Hoenig, Johnny Vidacovich, Shannon Powell, and Jason Marsalis. He played in prestigious marching percussion groups, including the 2010 World Champion Phantom Regiment Drumline and the 2010 Texas State Snare Ensemble, where he was composer and section leader, and the 2011 Santa Clara Vanguard Drumline (section leader). The primary drummer with South Texas Jazz, he has performed and recorded with various groups in New York City, Cincinnati, Austin, and San Antonio.
