824c0998-c066-4110-9a42-1238269b1227Gabriel Williams has danced principal and soloist roles with Oakland Ballet, Sacramento Ballet, New York Theatre Ballet, Amy Seiwert’s Imagery, Milwaukee Ballet 2, Black Rock City Ballet, Madison Ballet, Peninsula Ballet Theatre, and as a guest artist with the Trey McIntyre Project, Ballet Idaho, Idaho Dance Theatre, and Dance Through Time. He has appeared on the TV show Glee, and starred in the feature film Shteps. He has also performed in Equity Summer Stock musical theater productions. Gabriel has danced works by Balanchine, de Mille, Ashton, Tudor, Dwight Rhoden, Amy Seiwert, Twyla Tharp, Trey McIntyre, Donald McKayle, Eugene Loring, Stephen Mills, Ron Cunningham, Adam Hoagland, Matthew Neenan, Sidra Bell, Kathy Posin, Ronn Guidi, and Carlos Carvajal among others.  Gabriel has taught ballet, jazz, tap, and partnering across the country and most recently was on faculty at Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp in Colorado. Before embarking on a career in concert dance, Gabriel trained for two years on scholarship at the Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles under many industry leaders including Marguerite Derricks, Joseph Malone, Jackie Sleight, Jerry Evans, Wade Robson, Doug Caldwell, Michael Owens, and Billy Goodson in jazz and hip-hop, and Denise Scheerer and Mark Goodman in tap. A graduate of the LEAP program at St Mary’s College of California, he is a current Legacy Fellow and candidate for MFA at The Florida State University.
