Jimi Loc Nguyen studied under Bill DeYoung, Peter Sparling, Judy Rice, Amy West, Robin Wilson, Melissa Beck, Sandra Torijano, and Amy Chavasse, and has performed in works by Bill T. Jones, Lucinda Child, and Sandra Torijano DeYoung. Jimi has participated in Drum Corp International with The Glassmen and The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. He has also performed with Next Level Dance Company, a hip-hop crew from Detroit, at the World of Dance Finals in Los Angeles. In 2015, Jimi joined DanceWorks Chicago, a training program for early career dance artists.
