It tells the true story of the love and marriage of American soldier-philosopher J Glenn Gray and German dancer Ursula Gray following World War II through a forceful mix of dance, film, interviews and live music from their grandson Eliot, who also appeared in the piece Choreographers Curtis Uhlemann and Erica Gionfriddo never try to do too much, focusing on just a few events and quotes that the cast brought to life with aplomb.
